FAQs
What is a letterbox coffee subscription?
A letterbox coffee subscription is a way to get freshly roasted coffee through your door, without needing to be home. Pact’s 250g bags are designed to fit standard UK letterboxes, so your coffee arrives like a letter, rather than a parcel.
Will my coffee really fit through the letterbox?
Yes. Our bags are made to meet Royal Mail Large Letter dimensions (approximately 353mm x 250mm x 25mm). That means they’re specifically designed for reliable, first-time delivery through your letterbox.
How fresh is the coffee?
All Pact coffee is roasted to order. That means it’s roasted just before dispatch, rather than sitting in a warehouse or on a shelf for weeks. By the time it reaches you, it’s at the ideal point to brew and enjoy.
How often will I receive my coffee?
You can choose a delivery frequency that suits you – weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly You can also change this at any time, depending on how quickly you’re getting through your coffee.
Can I change or pause my subscription?
Yes, you’re always in complete control. You can:
- Switch to another coffee in your plan.
- Change your grind size.
- Skip a delivery.
- ASAP an order.
- Pause your subscription.
All without any penalties or long-term commitment.
What kind of coffee will I receive?
That depends on your preferences. You can choose specific coffee or let us recommend options based on what you tell us you like via our rating system.
Is the packaging recyclable?
Yes, our packaging is designed to be as sustainable as possible while still protecting your coffee. The bags can be recycled at home, helping to reduce waste without compromising on freshness.
Is a subscription better value than buying coffee ad hoc?
In most cases, yes. Subscriptions are designed to offer better value over time, alongside the added benefits of freshness and convenience. You also avoid the hidden cost of buying coffee that isn’t at its best.
