How to make coffee with a Clever Dripper

You will need:
- 15g fresh medium-grind Pact coffee
- Filtered or bottled water
- Clever Dripper
- Drip scale (or a measuring jug and V60 scoop if you don’t have them)
- Filtropa Size 4 Filter Paper
- Large mug
- Kettle

You will need:
- 15g fresh medium-grind Pact coffee
- Filtered or bottled water
- Clever Dripper
- Drip scale (or a measuring jug and V60 scoop if you don’t have them)
- Filtropa Size 4 Filter Paper

Step 1
Fold your filter paper across both seams and put it into your Clever Dripper.
Step 2
Boil a kettle and leave this to sit for 30 seconds.
Step 3
Put your Clever Dripper over your mug and soak the paper wet with warm water.
Step 4
Release the catch of the Clever Dripper, allow the water to drip into your mug and discard this water.
Step 5
Put your Clever Dripper onto your scales. Fill it with 250ml (250g) of just off boiling water before adding 15g of medium-grind coffee.
Step 6
Put the lid on your Clever Dripper and leave it to brew for two minutes – this is known as the immersion phase. Then, using your hands, gently swirl the coffee with the water.
Step 7
Put the Clever Dripper onto your mug. Gently release the catch and wait for around a minute while the coffee draws down.
Step 8
Enjoy your coffee.
